LOL! What a little imp in the cart! Gosh that's so funny when it happens to someone else!!
I've never been an Ina fan, but after seeing your beautiful picture and reading the recipe, I'm changing my mind.
I think this just may replace my favorite blueberry cake. I cannot wait to try this when blueberry season comes in. In the meantime I'm copying and saving!
Blueberries bring me memories also. We were living in southern Michigan and my friend and I would take our four daughters and each of us would pick 90 pounds of berries for 30 cents a pound in those days. (early 70's) Lots of coffee cakes, jams, pies, muffins...looking forward to your recipes even though the Florida blueberries are not that good. Enjoying them here in Maine.
Oh, this is definitely going to be a great week. I just love blueberries! Loved the story about the little grocery cart imp, and your mosaic is beautiful. Great music too! Wonderful post, can't wait to try the crumb cake. Kathy
Oh Mary.. I looooovvve blueberries. and this crumb cake looks and sounds delicious... I am going to copy/paste/print it now! (and use it as an excuse to my family for making it) Susan
Hello. Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog for OW last week. The blueberry crumb cake looks so yummy. Thanks for sharing the recipe. I can't wait to make it.
I can't wait for the rest of the berry-athon! this looks like a perfect start, the crumb looks so moist, perfectfor tea or coffee on a lazy afternoon! Love it!
I can handle all the berries you dish up! This is really beautiful. Fats Domino never made Monday blue for me. Those are still great songs. Oh yes I'm older than that.
I just love blueberry cakes, muffins, etc. The cake looks wonderful. It should be blueberry season here in another month or so and I am looking forward to making cakes with these big blue berries!!!
Ahhh! Looks good - but almost anything inspired by Ina has got to be good! And as far as Fats Domino goes he never disappoints either. Happy Blue Monday - Lookin' forward to the rest of the Blueberry fest! ~ Robyn
