Penny from Lake Lure Cottage Kitchen, came up with an idea for an Annual Kitchen Reveal Day that would allow others to see where our cooking is done. My kitchen is part of a great room and it's always on display. That keeps me on my toes. I've included a shot of the pantry as well. The pantry makes the placement of the kitchen possible. Our home is built into a hillside and because of its many windows the house is full of light even on gray Oregon days.

Mary, I studied your photos quite a while. First of all, I noticed that beautiful Japanese influenced screen by the dining table. Then, I noticed on the top photo the screen opens to display windows. Beautiful. And, of course, your pantry is just as I imagined, because your orderly personality comes through in every post. Thanks for sharing. Loved it.

Absolutely lovely! My favorite parts are the beautiful view...which would make it a kitchen I would never want to leave, and that beautiful woodwork on the wall by the table! Lovely!
You have such a lovely home... Be honest, you cleaned and sparkled cause you knew you were showing photos. I am going to photograph mine right now, but will have to hide some of the clutter or my wife will be ticked off.
