Scooper the dog got me up at 3:45 this morning. The saving grace was loading the NY Times onto my computer to find the election results. The good news: I don't have to move to Canada.
Mary, I can't agree with the majority of your followers. Still, I wish the President good fortune and hope that now that he's stopped campaigning, he'll acutally lead us out of the mess we're in. What a long, expensive and tortured process this was! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
It's always amazing to me to see how differently people see things...very true yesterday. As for me, I can't understand why people aren't bothered more by the huge debt and the ever increasing spending. I wish the President well, and I pray that He is able to truly lead us. But I also hope that people begin to see that by relying on the Federal government for so much, we also give them a lot of control in our lives. It's only a matter of time before you find yourself on the wrong side of legislation. I think it's important to consider larger principles when voting...not just specific issues. I'm thankful though that we live in a country where we can disagree but still live peacefully together.
it is a very sad day for our freedom, our constitution, our right to OUR money that WE built. Prayers for this President to BE MORE America-minded than he's exhibited in the past.

I breathed a sigh of relief. My family is not wealthy and I was so proud to see people like me (common people who believe in government) put our President in office for a second term. I love my Republican friends, but I am not ashamed to support our President 100%.
