I wanted to share some of my favorite recipes with you as 2014 comes to an end. All the dishes I'm featuring tonight have been prepared for, and reviewed by, my family before they are posted here. They are tough and vocal critics. With their help, I've classified the recipes by month and those chosen by the crew represent the savory recipes that they most liked for that period of time. These dishes are remarkably simple, peasant-type fare that I suspect your family will love, and, if you are the cook, I think you'll appreciate how simple they are to make. I'll share our favorite sweet recipes with you tomorrow evening
