Garlic String Beans...from the kitchen of One Perfect Bite courtesy of Family Circle Magazine
1 pound trimmed green beans
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves sliced garlic
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1) Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add green beans and cook 4 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Drain.
2) Using same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers. Add sliced garlic and cook until fragrance is released, about 1 minute. Stir in green beans and toss to coat with oil. Season with salt and pepper. Yield: 4 servings.
