If you find it difficult to name your poison, either of the following recipes would be a wonderful addition to your Valentine's Day celebration. Why not try them both? They are festive and delicious and I know you will enjoy them. Here is how these appropriately pink treats are made.
Pink Peppermint Patties
Ingredients:
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1-1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon peppermint oil (do not use peppermint extract)
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoons evaporated milk + more as required
1 or 2 drops red food coloring
Chocolate Coating:
9 ounces semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon shortening

Pink Martini
Ingredients:
4 ounces good-quality gin
1 ounce guava nectar
1 ounce fresh orange juice
orange twist (for garnish)
Directions:
Shake the liquid ingredients vigorously with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Run the orange peel around the rim, twist it over the drink, and drop. Yield: 2 servings.

LOL! Love that apron! That pink martini looks so tempting. During the Christmas holiday I had a peppermint martini... it was so festive and beautiful... and quite tasty. Might have to give the mint and the martini a try! hee hee. blessings ~ tanna
